I am creating a login page using struts 1.3.10. In the loginAction class I am giving mapping.findForward("welcome"); This then looks up the global forwards definition in struts-config.xml, which i have given as
<global-forwards>
<forward name="welcome" path="/wel.do"/>
</global-forwards>.
Next in action mappings i give <action path="wel" forward="welcome.page" />. The welcome.page is defined in tiles-defs.xml as

<definition name="main.layout" path="/mainLayout.jsp">
<put name="header" value="/header.jsp"/>
<put name="info" value="/info.jsp"/>
<put name="menu" value="/menu.jsp"/>
<put name="body" value=""/>
<put name="footer" value="/footer.jsp" />
</definition>

<definition name="welcome.page" extends="main.layout">
<put name="title" value="Welcome"/>
<put name="body" value="/welcome.jsp"/>
</definition>.
I have created both the welcome.jsp and the mainLayout.jsp pages, but when i click on the login button on the login page, I get a "The website cannot display the page" error. Any help would be highly appreciated.
