Are feminists convenient?

Disclaimer: I am a feminist.

Feminists demand the right to similar treatment for females as their male counterparts. Similar opportunities, similar freedom, similar right to choices.
However, they also demand reservations for all left hand side bus seats and 33% reservation in parliament.
Way I look at things, this is like, when it is convenient, we are OK to be singled out for special treatment.

Do you think this will dilute the feminist movement in the generations to come?
Discuss.

First of all, when you say "they" - you'll find that plenty don't. Positive discrimination is a contentious area on both sides of the debate. In a perfect world it would never be necessary - but the question is, what do you do with an imperfect world?

(I've never even heard of the bus thing - that sounds weird).
