What is supposed to be the behavior when I click 'Watch Forum' ? I am currently watching the Spring forum and nothing seems to have changed. I was expecting an e-mail when a new topic was created but maybe that is not what is supposed to happen.
This is what is expected to happen. However, when an existing thread is moved to the forum from elsewhere (it happens now and then), the notification is probably not sent.
Try setting the watch on a busier forum, such as Java in General. If you don't get several notifications a day, they are probably lost on their way to your mailbox. I do get lots of new topic notifications on this forum.
I guess I can try it but even if it works it does not fix the problem that I am not getting new topic notifications on the forum I do want to watch. I clicked it yesterday morning and there have been new topics that were not moved and I have yet to see a notification.
