hi Shankar ,

I have different action class which starts with Edit*******,so i am trying to write one action mapping using wildcard..below are the action class and action form used.

These are the different action class Editpaly,Editgoal,Editrun
Thaese are the differnt actionForm Editpalyform,EditgoalForm,EditrunForm

These are the differen Jsp Editpaly.jsp ,Editgoal.jsp, Editrun.jsp

Can any tell how this wildcard things for action mapping works for below requirment

<action
path="/edit*"
type="org.apache.struts.webapp.example.Edit{1}Action"
name="{1}Form"
scope="request"
validate="false">
<forward
name="failure"
path="/mainMenu.jsp"/>
<forward
name="success"
path="/{1}.jsp"/>
</action>
