Hi I am trying to download and install PMD plugin for eclipse but did not suceed in doing so.

I downloaded the following 2 zips
  • net.sourceforge.pmd.eclipse-3.2.6.v200903300643.zip (this version matches with the one which i installed online)
  • pmd-eclipse-1.8.0

  • Not sure which one to use and how to confiure it in eclipse.

I search lot but did not find proper steps for the offine installation and configuration.

    Thanks in advance,

The normal way to install plugins into Eclipse is to unzip them into the Eclipse plugins folder. It is a good idea to shut down Eclipse first.

Once the plugins have been installed, start Eclipse. The configuration is then usually done on the Window/Preferences dialog, where the plugins should have added new topics related to those plugins.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.
