Hi,

I need help on the following:

I'm to write a Java Web-Service using JAX-WS but the clients might not be written in Java.

The ws has a loginCall(userName, pwd) and my question what is the best way to maintain if user is logged in?

Should I store this information in HTTP session or should client provide it on every ws call?

If I store user data in a session will it break the stateless status of a ws?

Thanks,

Yes peter you can either set this value in session or you can add this value with ws calls as an parameter with the service call.
