Guys, I've a challenging java question. It takes time and skill to clear this.

You need to group the java terms. For ex: Java Interviews, Java Jobs & Openings in Java comes under same category(you may name the category if you need but not required, just group the category using some numbers). I've tried about 150 terms. You may complete the rest. I may be wrong on grouping those terms. Just try your skill and have java-fun.

Below are the examples of what I've found:
core java tutorial 1
what is java used for 1
java for beginners 1
this java 1
java list example 2
linked list java 2

Group the below terms:

More like, it requires someone to convince us it's an interesting or worthwhile question in the first place. Why would this ever be an interview question? What sort of job is this an interview for? What is the purpose of the "grouping" you want?

Mike, you are right. This doesn't look interesting for me and so I stopped trying after 150 about terms. I wanted to get in java and i'm 26 now. One of my friend who is a kinda java expert has fetched these terms from somewhere and asked to group it saying i'll have a better knowledge of different java concepts if I group these terms according to their category. But I believe it's really a challenging question. How do you see it?

A "kinda java expert" who put a bunch of Javascript terms into a quiz which was supposed to be about Java?

Not me. I don't have anything nice to say about it, so as per the forum rules I'm not going to say anything more.

I moved it to the Programming Diversions forum.

My opinion: complete waste of bandwidth and time.

Sure, not a problem. As you see several people have a negative opinion of the question, but that doesn't disqualify it from being posted. There's a lot of things I see on the forum which I think are examples of people wasting their time, but other people are quite happy to spend their time on those things. Maybe those other people will show up here.

Mod/Admin, as i'm completely new to java, this question seemed to be interesting for me. But from my understanding here, those who are good in java find this kind of question to be a time wasting job. So you may remove this thread if you feel so.

Thanks

Them point is: if you are looking to hone your Java skills, there are netter ways to do it than wasting time on something like this that isn't really going to have much benefit.

Have you looked into the Ranch's Cattle Drive?

Well, let me try to describe why I have a negative opinion of that question.

Suppose I decided I wanted to be a civil engineer. Then I would expect my education to prepare me to build roads and bridges and sewage plants and parking garages and so on. I wouldn't feel that a quiz which invited me to put words like "concrete" and "crane" and "municipal bond" into categories really contributed to that education at all.

Also, there is a difference between a task being difficult because it involves developing, or at least identifying, a number of interesting concepts and a task being difficult because it involves doing a simple action 150 times. Rather than actually categorizing all of the terms you listed, we might be interesting in helping to determine what the most using system of categorization might be. Maybe. Possibly.
