What software do you use or would recommend to evaluate page performance?

Hi!

I have been using the request metrics websphere sends to the SystemOut.log file to evaluate page performance (does it take less than 3 seconds to be produces, etc...) and find the pages/EJB calls, etc... that took the longest to be processed.

That was fine when I had to do it occasionally and for one server at a time but now I am being asked to produce stats for more than one server daily... Essentially these stats are to be used to see if we meet our SLA (a certain percentage of pages must load under 3 seconds**)

Modifying my small small program would most likely be possible but my boss wants to avoid an in-house solution as much as possible.

I am now trying to find a program that can be automatized and provide me with the stats I am asked to produced.

I doubt one actually exist but I was asked to check if there's an open source one but if there's none a commercial solution would be acceptable too...

Thank you!

Nick

** I know that is not necessarily the best way to evaluate app/page application performance but that the one I was asked to use.
