Hello guys. I don't know where to post this since I'm using Liferay but using JSF2.0 plugin.
I have no problem passing from jsp to java via the processAction but how do I pass values from the .java to .jsp from initial rendering of the page? On my .java, I have a database query using Liferay's built in service util which gets a list of countries. Now, I want to place the data I've retrieved to a select's option and value attributes.

excerpt of .java

excerpt of .jsp

Thank you in advance for the help

To get help, the first thing you need to do is fix your display name: http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp .

This isn't JSF, regardless of what plugins LifeRay is using, so I'm moving it to the Portals forum.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
