I am stuck in situation of unable to connect to MYSQL db which is set up on comp in same network. I have deployed my java application on x.x.55.26 and db is set up on x.x.55.30. i am trying to connect to DB but i am getting connection refused error. The persistence-context.xml is as following.
The comp is virtual machine and i need to validate my credentials in firewall interface which i have done. but i am not able to connect to DB in x.x.55.30
googled a bit. found that i need to use SSH or Http protocol which are the only protocols not blocked by firewall.
Does anybody have idea about this? did anybody come across this situation before in their work or lab?
