OutputStream encountered error during write

Hi we are generating PDF file using FOP ad using the websphere 6.1

the generated PDF is in for byte bsPDF[]

Later setting in DVO as oNonHTMLDVO.setPdf(bsPDF);

Below is the code to open file,

outStream = response.getOutputStream();   
                            response.setContentType("application/pdf");   
                     dvo=(NonHTMLDVO)resultObject;   
                     String fileName="DStub_"+dvo.getPolnbr()+".pdf";   
                   response.addHeader("Content-Disposition", "inline; filename="+ fileName);   
                                        
                    response.setContentLength(dvo.getPdf().length);   
                    buf = new ByteArrayInputStream(dvo.getPdf());   
                     int readBytes = 0;   
                     
                    while ((readBytes = buf.read()) != -1)   
                        outStream.write(readBytes);

I am geting below exception at line outStream.write(readBytes) .... cany body help me please

Probably the user cancelled the request (by clicking on the "Stop" button or navigating to another page or closing the browser or something like that). This is normal behaviour.

But here user means who. can you elaborate regarding this.
If it is normal behaviour. How can I resolve this. this problem i am facing from 5 days.... can you help me please...

Excellent paul.... I observe that at the client side that we are closing the window usinf win close.
Now I am not facing that exception.

But still the file is not opening. Can any body help me please.....
