Hi Friends! I'm working on Java Web Application development using JSP,SERVLET and STRUTS1.3 and Java 6... I want to go in Android development.. Will my prior java experience help me for Android. Are Java API exactly used as-it-is in Android... Is it feasible for me to move from Java EE to Android Apps for Mobile development... Please Guide me... And also focus on main and must java technologies used for Android App Development...

Yes, although the code runs on the dalvik VM

This is subjective. If you want to move to Android, you sure can. The APIs and programming style are a little different. There is a small learning curve to get over.

Hi its good to keep on moving with java platform, since android apps are now done by mostly as freelancing. As per the job requirements Java has number of opening when compare to Android apps. So its better to go with Java. Its my opinion only. All the best.
