Struts 1.2 - when I enter greater lesser symbol html:text texbox it's getting rendered as &lt;&gt;

Struts 1.2 -

In UI when I enter <>() it's getting rendered as <>
Where I am using html:text to get the input values .when I see the values
it's been like these

when I search they are character encoding .I am not aware please help me out

what I need to do

I need to get <>() as same .
 
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
