Is it good to study cloud computing, TIBCO or any other course to get resume shortlisted?

Hello everyone,

I have 2 years of java/j2ee experience. But after relocating to singapore , am not getting any calls. Is is good to study cloud computing ,TIBCO or any other course to make resume get noticed.
Please suggest what should I do? Its almost 6 months now but no luck..

Did you look at the job advertisements in Singapore to see what the prospective employers are looking for?

There could be a number of reasons. Here are a few questions you can ask

1. Is my resume meeting what the prospective employers are looking for?
2. Do I have customized resume relevant to the job spec?
3. Am I exploring all the possible job hunting avenues?
4. How about some relevant volunteering work to get some local experience?

Thanks a lot for your response. but i already tried all aspects of job search. May be my experience does not match that level. As per your advice I will try to get some local volunteering work.
