OCJP doubts..

how many days before we need to get register ourself before taking the OCJP test,,?? i'm in bangalaore and have a prometric test center nearby,,
how many days will it take to pass the test if im a beginner in java,,

i really need to boost my confidence so it would be great if any one can help me in that too,,
