the correct word is "won't-be-supported" rather than RECOGNIZED. java 6 will continue to be recognized . the news is that there won't be anymore updates for java 6 after february 2013. the date has been extended til february. java 6 will continue to be recognized and there is no such thing that nobody will recognize/honor/value it. please use your words carefully since this is a certification forum and can cause distress. the best thing would be to post link to the source of your information , rather than wording the facts in your own words.
