Hi ,

I am going to take "OCP for Java SE 6 " . I am preparing " Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide (Exam 310-065)" by Kathy Seirra and Bert Bates .

And in this book for SELF TEST Questions they are following "Select all answers apply" Questions instead of "Select correct n Answers". So I am confusing.

I want to score 85% to 95% marks . Is this book enough ?

And also Could you please suggest the best ways(and books) to reach my target.

Welcome to CodeRanch!

The 'choose all that apply' thing in Sierra-Bates book is intentionally to keep reader more prepared. In real exam (as far as I know), you will be asked to 'select n correct answers'.

IMHO, Sierra-Bates book is more than enough to pass and get a descent score on the exam. Of course, it won't guarantee regarding 85-95% - it will totally depend on your own preparation.

The best way (apart from going through book) would be - code, code, code (and don't use IDE in early stages).

Also, please avoid creating duplicate topics for same purpose.

I hope this helps.

All the Best!
