struts design and life cycle

Hi All,

I wanted to two things about struts framework:
1) What is the life cycle of struts framework, i mean in which order struts-config, Action Servlet, Request Processor etc comes into play.
2) I want to remove struts-config from struts framework but instead wants to mantain serval config's how can i do that.
