Hi,

I am a certified java programmer and certified web service developer. I would like to take SCEA exam, the problem is it requires some mandatory courses.

Is there any way to take this exam without mandatory course or the require mandatory course with very less amount(if around Rs. 10,000)

ps: I can pay voucher fee that's fine but mandatory course seems very costly..

please help me.

No, mandatory course is MUST. You can take training which is very low cost.

I was hoping to do SCEA from long time ago, but didn't found enough time to commit myself to the exam. I just got to know that they have imposed new restrictions on the exam by adding compulsory training. I cant clearly afford such a large sum of money for a certification. I just wonder at least whether they provide us a certificate or a transcript at the completion of each level. If so we can complete each level and we get something to show to employer even though we don't have the final certification.

I agree. Here's the link: http://zeroturnaround.com/jrebel - it saves me about five hours per week
