Hi,

Yesterday I passed the OCPJP 1.6 and I have a question. My study was cover through this books:
- SCJP 6 Study Guide (Sierra,Bates)
- OCP Java SE 6 Programmer Practice Exams (Bates,Sierra)
I solved more that 300 questions. I notice that the exam questions were much more easier than the exercises in this 2 books. Huge difference in difficulty and also in size. The exam questions were very small in size.
Why is this huge difference between this books and the exam. Or I have taken a wrong exam. Also is there any way to view the questions and answers of my test?

Thanks

Exam questions appear randomly, so for one questions set it can be easy although for any other it might difficult.

Congrats

The difference is because mock exams are meant to toughen you up for the real exam and You can not view the question/answers of your test. The least you can do is view the objectives for which you have answered wrong.

Hi,

Congrats!

I am studing these 2 books and I did good in the questions on each chapter in book 1 and I did the first 3 mock exams on the 2nd book and only get around passing scores. I am a bit worried. How did you do in those 4 mock exams? was those scores much different comparing with your real exam score? should I do more mocks exam from different sources( I did some topic based question from other sources and scores was good)? I am going to review those chapters which I am weak at and redo those mocks again. My exam is in 2 weeks. any tips?

Thanks

Cheers I would have said, if you had taken a wrong exam. Because then you would have passed it without even studying for it

Can you tell me the free (chapter wise) mock exam websites otehr than those found in the javaranch website. I found few of them are not working and few are for the older versions.
Appreciate the early response.
