Hi ,

can anyone please tell me how many simultaneous active connections/threads tomcat 7 can handle on AJP connector port 8009 ? and what will happen if this limit exceeds ?
server.xml -
<!-- Define an AJP 1.3 Connector on port 8009 -->
<Connector port="8009" protocol="AJP/1.3" redirectPort="8443" />

Let me know if you need more info

Thanks,

As far as I know, they come out of the general connection thread pool. Once all threads in the pool are in use, further requests should be delayed, and if not eventually give a thread, time out.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.

Once the threads fill up it queues up the requests up to "acceptCount". I don't know the max number of threads it can handle. It should depend on the performance of your system to a point. I can't seem to get more than 100 ish threads going myself.
