Using Table Layout

I'm trying to use TableLayout for the first time because I like GridBagLayout, but it never does exactly what I expect ti to do, and will shift things slightly to one side and all kinds of similar problem. I downloaded the jar, and from there I'm not sure what to do. I created a package in my project called "layout" and put the jar in there. But when I try to import it, Eclipse doesn't recognize it. How do I get it to import into my program?
