I have two jsp pages. What am i trying to do is if i select value1 from a drop down box from first jsp ... the buttons on the second jsp should be disabled.
And if i select value2 those buttons on the second jsp should be enabled. I am using struts in my application. And the button i want to enable/disable is on the second jsp. Also i am displaying the value1 or value2 on second jsp itself. So i was wondering if i can put some check on the jsp that if value1 disable if value2 enable buttons or should i need to code in action class ... i am kinda new to this... I shall be grateful if some one can give me a example or link. Thanks in advance.

Without knowing what the relationship between the first and second JSP is, it's difficult to say.

on first i am selecting ... states city country using drop down box and on the second one i am displaying the summary of whatever user selected (city and alll)...plus.. i have two buttons on the second one . moveright and moveleft.. so say if i select country other than USA.. those two buttons should be disabled and if USA.. they should work .. as they are working now..

You still haven't answered my question. How are the first and second JSP related? Parallel in separate frames/windows? Serial via forward? Serial via redirect? Other?
