My company has an Applet that is used to interact with a piece of hardware that we make. We have customers that would rather run this application from the command line. I recall that there was a pattern (I think it was called an appletcation) where a Jar file could act as either an Applet or executable Jar. I do not recall the details of making this work. I am sure that with a little time I could figure this out on my own, but I am wondering if you all can point me to an article that talks about how to do this. Alternately, is there a different name that I should be searching for this under?
