Hello Guys,
I wanted to know difference between above testing environments
I have searched online on these and i have found:
QA - Quality Assurance: A set of activities designed to ensure that the development and/or maintenance process is adequate to ensure a system will meet its objectives.
QC - Quality Control: A set of activities designed to evaluate a developed work product.
DEV - Dev is given a goal to fix n number of bugs per day (without injections!)
are above correct theoretically could anyone throw more light on above
What is QV Environment?
What are other environments for testing and testing setup?

In the real world, QA is often just testing and not the actual QA activities. Counting # bugs fixed per day is a flawed metric. Bugs have different levels of complexity.
I've never heard the term QV used. Different companies have different test environment names though.
