Hi,

i need to give functionality to a user of my web application that if they click a button this extends the current http session context,

I set the timeout using:


Is there a way to extend the current HTTP session using JSF or jQuery or JavaScript or Java?

Not on the client side.

I think there's a J2EE API call on the server side that can do it, but I'd have to RTFM to be sure.
