What version of jQuery do you use for the book?

The book uses jQuery 1.8.0, but highlights areas where the current version differs from previous ones (at least 1.7.2).

You mentioned extending jQuery UI in another post, what version of jQuery UI do you build widgets with?

The book uses jQuery UI 1.8.23, although most things still apply to earlier versions.
