Hi,

Could someone suggest a beginner's guide on JPA. I tried to search for some books, but they were EJB in additon to JPA. I am looking for something that handles JPA in detail.

Regards,
Ashwin

I really liked this book: Pro JPA 2: Mastering the Java™ Persistence API – Mike Keith, Merrick Schincariol

While the book Hebert listed is EJB centric it is one of the best books out there on JPA imo.

You will see that it will talk a little about EJB but the focus is the JPA.
