What are the best ways to learn jQuery? Any particular books, videos, or other reference material suggestions?

I hear Manning's jQuery in Action is quite good.

A lot of people mention the jQuery Cookbook as helpful: http://shop.oreilly.com/product/9780596159788.do

I have found that the jQuery tutorials and documentation are excellent as a resource. I was able to pick it up through just reading the examples and working on some sample stuff.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
