Regarding SOAPHeader

What is the purpose of using SOAPHeader for?
I found some sites said that can use to put payment or authentication data but I can also put these data on SOAP body or logical part.
So what are the differences to put these data on SOAPHeader instead of SOAP body?
Can I inject any other information into SOAPHeader?

You can use it for any metadata that makes sense for your purposes. For example, WS-Security (the standard way of securing SOAP WS) uses it for encryption, signature and authentication purposes.

Hello Ulf,

Can I create a SOAP Header while creating a java web service?

I need to deploy it on JBoss AS.
