Database help! Dont want to use localhost/hosting, what else option i have?

is there any way to work using database without using localhost/hosting.
Like i dont want that my client should have to setup Xamp etc or have an internet connection..
how is this possible??

So where do you want to put your database?
Maybe look at
SQLite
or
Oracle Berkeley DB
, but you'd still need to consider issues like backup/recovery, security, data volumes etc.
