I just asked the publisher if I could get a discount promotion for the book, for the folks at Java Ranch during this book promotion.
They told me to refer you folks to Amazon as the book is currently 40% off, and they couldn't do better than that:

So, it was $50.00 and is now $30.11, after the 40%.
The book is printed and bound... and as soon as Amazon gets them in their warehouse, they'll be available, which I'm thinking will be really soon.
