Hi,

You are eligible to take the Architect Exam ( OCMJEA ). Having said that, you should make sure is the Architecture the path you want to take. This exam is different to Web Component / Java Programmer exam. I am sure you are aware that it is a 3 part exam. Also it is mandatory nowadays that you should attend Oracle training's to get your Architect Certification. The training could cost considerably, and it is based on the country you want to take the exam. Please check with Oracle site for the appropriate pricing. Good luck with your OCMJEA journey.

Regards

hello,

Thank you for your reply. How much it will cost approximately?. I am working 10hrs daily, so it would be difficult to attend oracle training. Is worth to spend much money for certification?.

Thanks

I've stopped my Java certifications because I believe the certification process is now more about making Oracle money than it is about getting developers certified which it used to be in my opinion.

Others are taking the 3 exam parts of the certification but not atteneding the training. Technically they aren't certified even though they have passed the exams. Strange you can pass the exams but not be certified in my opinion.

Anyone who has attended the training I have heard of have had the company they work for pay for it.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
