SOAP is XML.

You need to map out your algorithm and either go top down (from WSDL) or bottom up (from Java).

Welcome Daniel.

Unfortunately if you are a newbie to Java, web services are way beyond your realm.

What you need to do is get a solid foundation and move from there.

As for your problem, map out what you expect to accomplish. The web service needs some input (The Request),
and some output (The Response). If this is for school, then your thought process should be work some credit.

This is the task:
Create a translation service.

Customer service to activate the service method as follows:

getWord ("car", "russian", "polish")

The first parameter is the required word, the second is the original language, and the third target language.

The method should return a string with the appropriate word or words separated by commas if there are synonyms.

Data source, the service should use XML documents (the system may have only a few words, in order to test the functionality).

i don't know where to start
