I am preparing for OCPJWCD 6 and already read HFSJ twice. After that I went through some post in this community to see what else new topics should I learn from servlet 3.0 spec.
I downloaded the servlet 3.0 spec and started to learn async processing, annotations etc but I am not able to understand any of that. For eg. when I start to look at annotations they are so confusing for me @web-servlet etc.,Even I am not able to clearly understand these topics. Then I moved to piotrnowicki site and start to answer some question but soon realized that without knowing the concepts it wouldn't be fun. The description is very lengthy in servlet 3.0 spec, maybe I am used to read HF books but Did any one knows any site/blog which help me to understand these new topics. Please help me on this.

Thanks

Hi Anishashu, just a suggestion, when i was doing preparation i worked on small use cases. You can see a lot of examples around web. Also attime show yur POC to someone who can suggest you add some more functionalities and you willl learn all of them. This way is time consuming but at least you will start appreciating things and this will also start making sense. Don't know about others but i prefer it this way. Hope this will help you.

if you are not able to understand some part of servlet 3.0 specification i think you should post that part here on the forums. this will not only help you but also others who are reading servlet 3.0 specifications .
