i am using isql * plus as my database, and i wants to connect with database but when i am using the code as

<property name="hibernate.connection.driver-class">oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver</property>
<property name="hibernate.connection.url">jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:5560:orcl</property>

i am getting the exception

Exception in thread "main" org.hibernate.exception.JDBCConnectionException: Cannot open connection
at org.hibernate.exception.SQLStateConverter.convert(
at org.hibernate.exception.JDBCExceptionHelper.convert(

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:5561:orc
at java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(

can i get the Connection String for iSQL * plus

How are you adding the Oracle driver to your runtime classpath?

i am developing the above code using eclipse so i added ojdbc14.jar to the library.

Really i unabble to get that what you are asking about why it, to set for classpath.
