Applet pop-up window auto closing?

Suggestion on best practices? I'll give the "I'm new disclaimer."

I have a java applet that pops up from a web page, does some web scrapping through htmlunit. After the applet is done, I need the applet pop-up window to close and the original page to refresh.
As of now I'm using showStatus() to know when the applet is finishing and manually doing the above.

I'm using onclick for the pop-up window initially to open.

Welcome to the Ranch.

Your question is more suitable for the Applet forums. I will move it there for you.

Something like
will reload the page for you.

Thank you Maneesh.

I'll mess around with it, it's still not reloading the parent window after running, but it at least gives me a direction to go with and some things to try out.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
