Hi Tijs,
We have CAS SSO and LDAP authentication for all the application. Also their is special AGM group management system for only managing groups. How can we fetch users and groups in Activiti from this external software ?
This one of the very important point us as we have more then 80,000 thousands users as well more then 900 groups and sub-groups. Alfresco provides all this facility so don't have issue with alfresco-activiti.
I guess their is one topic in your book about LDAP. Have you covered all the details about it ?

Adding to above point I want to ask about authentication system of Activiti ? Does the book cover lower details about it ?

Yes LDAP integration is covered in a lot of detail. If you use Alfresco for Activiti then you'll use the Alfresco LDAP integration.
If you use Activiti standalone then you can use the LDAP example of the book as a starting point.

What about CAS SSO if I use Activity as standalone ?

I don't think we have had a community request for this yet. So no support at the moment.
But I think SSO would only be valid for the Activiti Explorer, so support could be added there.
