Hi Friends,

I am newbie to Maven, i have create a web applicaiton structure using maven and added all dependencies, java files are compiled fine, but i am seeing lot a errors in JSP files because i have imported so many class files in JPS's. So JSP files are not able to identify the java files. Please let me know the configuration for identifying the java class in jsp files.. so that all the errors will clear.

Thanks in Advance

You need to add dependencies to your pom.xml for the JAR files required by your JSPs. (Are you actually placing server-side script in the JSPs? You shouldn't be doing that - instead use tag libraries and the expression language in your JSPs and code all of your logic in servlets.)

JSPs get compiled by the JEE container on first invocation (most cases, they can be precompiled for performance).

If they are not finding the imported packages/classes then your configuration is incorrect.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
