Hello,
When I try to run an project which is imported I dont see run on server option. Even if I try to add the project on the
tomcat
server that project does not appear on the add and remove window. Please help

Which type of project you was imported?
That should be web project to get option of run on server?

How did you create that project? Usually you have to create a Dynamic Web Project to be able to deploy it to ta server.

Thanks for the reply.
yes the project is created by selecting Dynamic Web Project. But when I select properties->deployment assembly I dont see any entries.

Look under project -> properties -> Project Facets. Is Dynamic Web Module still checked?
