Please tell me if anyone knows some good institute to do Java/J2EE course in
Bangalore,India.

Basically am looking for one which has good experienced faculty(preferably experienced software profesionals)

and whose course does really help in understanding the concepts and whose course is value for money?

Thanks

I found that the best course for learning any software was to self learn and practice using my computer.

If you are completely new to programming, I would definitely recommend attending a programming course. If you are already familiar with basic programming skills, there are awful number of resources and books that will help you self learn at your own pace. In this sense, I would recommend you to pick up Head First Java and Head First JSP & Servlets.

I don't think adding replies like learn from online sites adds any value when the original poster is specifically looking for an institute which provides training.

I've heard this from my friends: Lara technologies in B'lore is the best.
But use your head and research on what you really want before committing your time and money.

The point to take away is to self learn. Online resources are just one way of them.

I Agree that, there are lot of useful online resources, so that we can self learn it easily, but, its also true that, there are equal number of tutorials, which are very bad/teach bad practices, so what i feel is, if the person is really new to technology, its always best to attend an course, so that (s)he will be able to distinguish between bad and good resources..

I am by no means convinced that you can learn programming from books, websites, etc. I think you have to learn from somebody (or people) who can program well already.
