We have several queues in the application running on the same jboss server. I am trying to implement/set message redelivery for just one queue. The maxinterval or numberofretries if set applies to all the queues.

How can I set these options for just one queue only. I hope my question is clear if not please say so.

Welcome to JavaRanch!

Which version of JBoss AS are you using? Depending on the version, we'll know which JMS provider implementation is being used. It's ultimately depends on whether or not the JMS provider allows such configuration.

Thanks for the response.

The JBOSS server version is 5.0 EAP

Is it just the activation properties on the MDB that I can tune pragmatically or tune the xml config files under conf. I realized that if I change the maxinterval/maxretty it affects all queues which is undesirable. However, there is a one line documentation which says thess options can be set per destination.

Let me know.

Thanks,

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
