Question on Java SE 7 book

Is this what I'll need to cover the OCJP7 test only or will it go higher? Right now I plan to take the SCJP6 test as I've already studied for it and programmer looks better than associate no matter what java version, and then go for JP7 and higher. I've been going over the K&P SCJP6 book so far. Is it worth getting a whole other book just for 7. Is it pretty intensive?...

Hi Jack -

If I were you I'd make sure the objectives between the two exams overlap mostly, if not entirely. Without taking a look myself, I presume there's not a big difference.

The basics of any language don't change too much (one hopes). There are in fact very few things added to Java SE 7 that factor into the OCA exam, so you might be safe. Since this book is aimed at brand-new beginners, I make few if any references to the differences between SE 6 and SE 7.

Make visible what, without you, might perhaps never have been seen.
