Hi,

The two trends of mobile computing and sensor-generated data mean that we’ll be getting more and more data in the future, do you think Hadoop will be able to provide capabilities of handling such large data?

Regards,
Mohamed

Hi Mohamed ,

There is no question that Hadoop has the ability to store and process large volumes of data. As with any system that you're designing, though, you need to think-through your use cases and make sure you pick the appropriate technology stack which best addresses how you intend to work with your data.

Thanks,
Alex
