I am a java developer and very recently I have started looking at the things from design perspective.I have also started reading things on architecturing.

I am very interested in the 'Cloud Computing'concept but, I am totally un-aware of how to go about it.

What all things I should refer to?(Books,Blogs any class room trainings etc).
What are the technical requirements?
Will it be a new start for me,taking into consideration my development experience?

My existing employment does not have any opportunities for me to work on cloud so I will have to prepare and practice at home.

Could you pease suggest me how can I break into this field?.

Googling "Cloud Computing" and reading some of the informational articles might help you get started.

Look up Google App Engine:
It let's you create cloud applications and try them out. Provided you don't use much storage space or generate much traffic, you can deploy your cloud app for free.

Those are just some options, there are dozens more.
