Is the JNDI shared in a cluster?

Hi all,
I'm curious, if the JNDI Objects are shared in a clustered environment? For example, If a node adds object to the JNDI Tree, will it be visible for the rest of the nodes in the cluster?
I am working with GF 3.1 currently, and this is not the case there, but may be I make a mistake somewhere.
