This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I'm posting this to save others some frustration. I've been trying to locate a web based file browser that supports UNC paths. I found a product called WebFileExplorer that claims to have this feature. The website says version 3.6 was released last year, and version 4 was released just this past September. However, after paying the $99 dollars, the download sent me version 3.1. I have not been able to make this app work with the single page of documentation provided.
Support is supposed to be included with purchase, but multiple emails to the company over that past 3 weeks, to every email address provided, have been ignored.
Avoid this product. I wish I could recommend an alternative, but unfortunately, I've been unable to locate any software that provides support for browsing UNC paths through a browser.

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
