Ctrl Spacebar fillers

Hi all !

I learnt that when I want main method, I just type main and Ctrl space bar, it automatically inserts public static void main with braces. When I type syso and enters Ctrl + space bar system.out.println getting automatically filled. I feel this to be very very convenient. Likewise, any more Ctrl + space bar fillers there ?

Thanks

Hi John, There are many shortcuts which are generally IDE dependent. You should go through (skim) IDE's manual to find more shortcuts or simple Google it.

You can see all of them by going to Windows > Preferences > Java > Editor > Templates. You can even add your own.

JBoss In Action

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
