I believe all you need is JAVA and XML.

You don't need to be an expert on anything to be able to read the book. The more you understand programming, messaging and integration; the more the book will resonate.

But the excellent editors over at Manning twisted all our eight arms to get all terms properly defined and introduced, so you should be able to read the book with very little prior knowledge.

If you know nothing about food, reading and trying a recipe is going to be a challenge, but that doesn't make it a bad idea.
