any one can help me to find how to shutdown derby database after using it...?

Have you searched for "shutdown derby" or some such phrase? Lots of results there.

Hi,
thanks for replying. but i try in that way. if i just open the connection an d then going shutdown then its work perfectly. but in the case of using the database and the going to shutdown, it's not disconnection database from program perfectly..

You tried in *what* way? What is the "that" in your sentence? And what is the difference between "open the connection and then going shutdown" and "using the database and the going to shutdown"?

no mate,
what i mean is.. in simply i want a way of shutdown derby database, after executing select statement on it..?
